As healthcare systems nationwide face a growing shortage of radiologists, Radiologic Associates of Fredericksburg (RAF) is expanding its physician team and strengthening its presence across the Mid-Atlantic region.
RAF recently added twenty-six new specialized physicians, bringing the practice to a total of sixty-four radiologists and positioning RAF as one of the largest private practice radiology groups in the Mid-Atlantic region.
The physician expansion comes as RAF continues to grow through newly signed agreements with healthcare systems across Virginia, West Virginia, North Carolina, and Maryland, increasing the access of additional subspecialized radiologists and expanded patient coverage. Before the end of this year, RAF will be providing care to patients in forty locations.
Originally founded in Fredericksburg in 1948, RAF has continued to expand beyond Virginia with new partnerships and agreements throughout the region.
