RAF offers over-read interpretation services to physician practices who own or lease their own imaging equipment. Services are provided by Board-Certified, fellowship trained sub-specialized radiologists who are committed to delivering high quality, cost-effective radiological services. All over-reads* are dictated by RAF physicians and reports provided.
We offer over-read services to support diagnostic requirements that may introduce professional liability risk. Having scans read by an experienced and credentialed Radiologist provides peace of mind by helping to rule out or identify any incidental findings outside the primary area of concern.
- Approximately 24 hrs. for regular studies and 20-30 min. for STAT studies.
- Radiology reports are auto-faxed & are also available on the Sectra web-based portal.
Practices continue to bill globally & RAF will bill the practice monthly for the total number of over-reads performed each month. RAF’s costs are below the national average. Contact us to discuss fees reflective of your needs.
